The Highest Prize- The Nobel Peace Prize

Only nine months into his presidency, President Obama received the highest prize there is which is the nobel peace prize. It seems as though he won the award based on his ambitions.
Truly, a very extraordinary turn of events when one thinks of it. Jimmy Carter waited years to get his after years of trying procure peace in various hot spots throughout the world.


“Perhaps for this reason, the newspaper said, “Analysts have almost unanimously interpreted his selection as a way of pressuring Obama to make pacifist choices as his administration continues forward.”  Link for Quote

Mother Theresa, also another Nobel Prize winner, who sacrificed her life to care for the poor. The paper quotes the following:


“Obama ought to recall that in 1979 he was preceded by Mother Teresa, who had the courage to state in her acceptance speech that the harshest war with the greatest number of ‘fallen’ is the practice of abortion, legalized and facilitated as well by the international structures.”     Link for Quote
